43(F) Squadron received the freedom of Stirling, on Saturday 3rd of June 2005.
This unique honour, is normally granted to a station, but was granted to 43 squadron
on the evening of Friday 3rd June 2005, at the Association dinner in the Great Hall, of Stirling Castle.
this was followed on the morning of
Saturday the 4th of June with the formal Freedom ceremony and parade and fly past,
with a
Civic Church service at Holyrude Church, Sterling on Sunday the 5th of June.
